While my soon to be ex (filed for divorce) was in county jail, I moved back into our jointly owned home after a robbery. Locks were changed and reinforcements were made to 1 door. Now he's back in the home, I moved out. He is telling me he plans to file criminal charges for changing "his" locks. Can he do this? Wouldn't this be considered filing a false report? As far as I know, I have every right to secure my property. I live in Florida, if this information is needed. Thanks.

Is there some sort of written separation agreement granting him sole access/possession of the house? If not, then its your house too and you can do whatever you like to it.

No, there was no separation agreement. Only thing was in filing divorce papers stating any marital property to be sold and divided. I assumed he was wrong, and I did tell him this as well. He did text these threats to me which I have saved, as well as a letter he sent to our son from jail (I made a copy of the letter), which he made other threats. I did consider filing a restraining order against him, but I moved to another county. Can he be charged with anything regarding these threats in writing? Also, would his attempt at filing charges be considered as filing a false report? Thanks again.
