I am 16 years old. My boyfriend and I had sex early this month, using a piece of saran wrap (stupid I know) to protect us from precum. He did not ejaculate in me. I got a "period" on the 16th, right around the day I was expecting, because my periods are irregular, usually coming between every 3 and 5 weeks. It was lighter than usual, but lasted the usual 7 days. In the beginning of may I took the morning after pill, which I heard can mess with your periods, making them lighter or heavier for a few months. A week ago I took a pregnancy test (4 days after the bleeding of my "period" stopped) and it came up negative. Do you think that was an accurate reading? Or do you think that I can take another now and get an accurate reading? I haven't experienced any pregnancy-like symptoms except that I am exhaustedd, but I think that could be because I have been freaking out for like 2 weeks and haven't gone to bed at a good hour, because I'm up thinking about it. What do you think? I'm freaking outtt.

Since you've had your period, and have no pregnancy symptoms, it doesn't sound like you're pregnant. If you're still worried worried take another test in a week or go see your dr for a blood test. And keep your pants on until you're ready to be pregnant. Or at least have the sense to use protection. You mentioned you took the morning after pill in may. And now this month saran wrap. If you're not even responsible enough to get yourself on the pill and make him use a condom, you're certainly not ready for sex. Aside from pregnancy, you greatly increase your chances for stds by not using proper protection.

You are not pregnant since you've had your period. However my candid advice for you is to stay away from being sexually active for now because you are still young. Do not ruin your future with teenage pregnancy. Abstinence is wisdom you know.

Just because you have had your period doesn't mean that you are not pregnant. It is very likely that you are not, but it is possible for a woman to be pregnant and still have her period.

The only way that you will know if you are pregnant is if you wait for a couple of weeks and do a HPT again or to go to your doctor and get blood work done.

You are NOT ready to have sex if you are using saran wrap as protection. Saran wrap is not made to be used as condoms. You need to do as justcurious suggested and keep your pants on and your legs closed if you are not responsible enough to use condoms or birth control. You are obviously not ready to have sex if you aren't ready to have a child.

I would suggest that you talk to your parents and if you are too afraid to do that, look up the closest planned parenthood and make an appointment to get on some sort of birth control and condoms. You do not need a parents permission to get that.

Until then you need to NOT have sex unless you are prepared to have a child or catch an STD.

Sex + No protection = Unplanned pregnancy and/or STD's
