Hi, this is my first time here. Hope I do OK. I have a goose neck style faucet at the kit. Sink and the part you pull down isn't retracting by itself anymore. Should I WD40 it or soap it or add more weight or what. Thanks to anyone for help. Bonnie
Ps it can easily be pushed up

You're doing just dandy Bonnie!
However, We need to know the brand name of your faucet. Would this be a one handle valve? How old is it? Back to you, Tom

I am sorry I don't know the brand. It is about two years old and is a single faucet style. Thanks for such a fast answer. Bonnie

Hi Tom, I forgot to tell you that I have no'on the scales' wording anywhere on the page. Also , it was purchased from home depot it that helps.

Thank you so much. But it is a goose neck and you pull the sprayer/head down not out. Thanks again, bonnie

If its somewhat like the pic above, you don't want to use any lubricants to solve your problem. Adding weight to the hose under the sink may help, but most likely the hose is catching on something under the sink, or in the vavle body itself. Get under the sink and have a good look at the hose and look to see if there is anything noticeable that may be causing it to not slide back in properly.

If it is Goose neck style or standard faucet with the pull out sprayer installed, like Mygirlsdad sayes check under the sink if the weight is attached to the hose, see the attached links for info, Thanks.

Thank you so much. I am glad I did not try anything yet. I already looked under the sink and nothing is in the way . Could I add more weight? Thanks so much, bonnie

Perhaps the weight has slipped along the hose. When the sprayer head in seated in the faucet, the weight should be on the sprayer side of the loop.
