I have a commercial cleaning business that I would like to take to the next level with advertising. I would like to know if you can help with methods of advertising that will not cost me a fortune. Thanks

There are lot of ways in which you can advertise your business whiout even shelling a penny from your pocket. Just as a instance you post your free classifieds in some of the seo friendly classified websites. For your convenience I am listing some to consider, where you can expect a maximum result for your free ads.
1) craigslist classifieds: jobs, housing, personals, for sale, services, community, events, forums (http://www.craigslist.com)

For sure you get response from this site.

2) free classified website for jobs, pets, sell, real estate, services, for sale (http://www.hindlist.com)

You can expect more Search Engine Optimization for your free classifieds, as this website is very easy to use and SEO friendly.

Free Indian Classifieds - Online India Classified Ads Advertising Listings (http://indialist.com)

This is also nice to try.

Classifieds, Free Classifieds, Online Classifieds | OLX.com (http://oxl.com)

Place your classifieds but this may take little bit of time but its really worth as you get responses.

And also don't forget to create banners in some free banner exchange sites. This option will exchange the traffic and inturn you get your responses.

So good luck for your future.

Hello clean:

When you say "commercial", I presume you mean you clean business's as opposed to houses.

Given that assumption, I'd say that you'll NEVER get a commercial client by advertising in the paper, craig's list, or any of those things. Those mediums are aimed at the broader market. You have a limited market. That's good.

Because, in my view, it's going to take PERSONAL CONTACT with your potential clients in order to get their business. So, instead of taking a flyer, or a business card, or even a nice colored brochure, I'd attach my business card to a little pointed stick, and poke it into the dirt of a live plant.

I'm not talking about a big plant. I wouldn't spend more than 99 cents on them... But, it's really a cheap marketing tool when you consider your time and your gas. Plus, the person who has to inspire her boss to call you is the one who is going to have your plant with YOUR NAME on it sitting right on her desk.

That's what I'd do.

If, of course, you meant HOUSES, do the same thing with cheaper plants, and put them on the porch. Sure, it'll take some shoe leather, but I think it's better than any add.

Hi, cleanHands!

I'm not sure what you mean by "the next level with advertising". Would you please explain what you mean by that? Also, how have you already been marketing and advertising what you can do, please?

Thanks!
