I've changed the old distribitor on a 1994 honda civic because I wasn't getting any spark the new distribiitor came off the same model car which I own as well which came off a running car and still no spark

. Test all under hood and under dash fuses with a test light or multimeter:

. Check the ignition switch for wear, pitting, or melting.

. Check for power to the distributor.

. Disconnect any tachometer, which may be shorting out the distributor.

I did what you said and everything checked out no blown fues everythings getting power did I do something wrong by any chance

If you didn't mark the distributor beforehand, the timing may be too retarded. Loosen and rotate the distributor housing slightly counter-clockwise (CCW).

It was the mian relay

Good job. I recommend changing main relays, ICMs, and coils every 120,000 miles or 10 years, whichever comes first.
