Top half of agitator not working

I have a Kenmore Series 70 washer model no. 11092272100. I need to replace the lid switch, how do I lift the top of the cabinet to make the connection like it should be?

Replace the dog kit $5-$10
Take the top cap off the agitator. 7/16 socket and long extension to take the bolt out. If there is no bolt but there is a big square hole in the middle then you turn the middle square. Agitator will pull up and separate into top and bottom.
