How do I get the front tire off my lawn mower

Hi,
Remove the wheel/tire from the axle? Take off the hubcap and take a straight tip screwdriver in one of the two open areas of the E-clip and twist. This should ease it out of the slot. Slip it off the axle; requires the mower's front end to be supported by something else.
