HI,

I have an electrical top stove, GE, that is about 2 years old. I also have a double wall oven by Hot Point, ancient. I had both on today cooking dinner. There was a POP and both went off. The main circuit breaker on the electrical panel did not flip. Neither will turn on. Tried to flip the breaker on and off. Nothing. Is there an internal circuit breaker on appliances that may have flipped? Or does this sound like a wiring problem somewhere else? How can I check? I will also post this on the electrical post board. I want to know whether there is an internal breaker or switch hidden somewhere?

Thank you

TaTa5 - I think from what you have said ,that the two of them are on the same breakeror are tied in on the same wireing circuit;; #1- If
I were you I would call a licensed electrician out to have him to check out [inspect] you three items and how they are wired#2- I think both are on the same breaker ,and you caused a overload ,or there was a short in one of them;;[If there wasent a short ;id almost bet there is somewhere now;; if the two re tied in somewhere in the circuit or are on the same breaker ,have the electrician get them seperated;; Stay save and have a great day good luck ;;GOD BLESS ::F.B.E.
