What "different location" are you talking about?

If you are having problems with your router, first thing to do is to shut it down along with your cable/dsl modem. Power on the modem, wait a minute, power on the router, wait a minute and then power on your computer.

Your router may still have settings from the other location still saved in it. You may need to reset the router and set it up again for your location. Your router should have a quick start guide that will help you with a reset and basic setup.
