First off id like to say thanks for stopping by and checking out my question.
All right well last night I texted this girl I'm "toghether" with ( we dated a few months ago ended up breaking up but staying togheter) and asked her if she was still interested in me. I asked this because for the past weekish she seemed stand offish. She replied to me saying " I think that i just thought i liked you because we got so close. " my question is... does anyone else think that was kind of a cruel thing to say. I mean personally I felt hurt by that.. not that she didn't like me anymore cuase I expected that but just the fact that she had to say she basically never liked me really.

It sounds a bit cruel but at the same time if that's what she honestly felt she told you the truth which is almost unheard of in a break up so in that regard I give her a lot of credit. So what if she didn't like you. That's her problem. Maybe she's incapable of commitment. Maybe she thinks you don't have enough money. Maybe she thinks she can't control you. I take a lot of different meanings from what she said, but in the end you still gave it your best shot and she decided that it may have been to fast to soon. Now you have a lesson in what not to do next time. Slow down and enjoy the ride.
