Hi community, I apologizes if my english is not very good

I own an old white westinghouse dryer model da400 - kdw5, and it has a broken belt.

I have all ready opened the upper door and the small rear one, but I donīt see a easy way to put the new belt.
Is there a easy way to put in place the new belt?

Thanks in advance

See if either of these helps:

White-West, Frigidaire repair info, how does the dryer come apart? (http://www.applianceaid.com/wwf-howto.html)

Basically you have to remove the drum. Don't panic. It's easy. The first link, above, has links to pictures. Remove the top -- it pops off. Remove the front panel screws. Take off the belt and pull out the drum. Reverse the procedure to replace the drum. If the belt is still intact, pay attention to how it winds around the idler arm. Here is a diagram:

While you've got it apart, check the bearings, the motor, and the drum support rollers. It's a lot easier to disassemble it once than to do it several times.

Thanks very much Perito, I´ll look into the links you post, but I can tell you that I have once change the belt without removing the drum and the front panel because the screws are in a difficult place to reach.
Do you think it´s possible without opening the front panel?

Perito, thanks again I got into both links, they are great with photos and routing.
You are right I´ll do the job in the best way and I will tell you how it goes.
You are a very informed person and you now were to look at.
