Earl77- I got my confederate money book out again a looked ;; I had skipped a page and missed the note in question ,so here it is;;
the notes of the $100.00 dollar denomination was reallyprinted in JAN.1ST 1864; the book says that the last note of any denomination for the CONFEDERATE STATES of AMERICA WAS A $ 50.00 dollar note on feb.17th 1864NOTE- ALL notes for the state of [ALABAMA , were engraved and printed by the branch of " J.T.Paterson & co. AUGUSTA GSA.;; the books do not give any value on the Confederate Stats notes,themselves because they are not as valuabl as the notes of the confederate states was and is ;; you may be able to sell it to a collector is the best bet ;; I hope this answers your questions and if you need more help, come back to see us on this site;; have a great day and GOD BLESS ::F.B.E.

Unfortunately, I feel your bill is a reproduction. I found your entry while searching for the value of my bill. It has the same number (834F). I also saw several entries saying that most of these were reproductions. Looking at my bill in high magnification, I saw modern (CYMK, 4 color process) printing. I know for sure my bill is a reproduction, and most likely, your is too.

All very helpful in solving this longtime mystery of this 100 dollar confederate note, I have this same one also and it looks to be old and worn. One question though to Flying Blue Eagle, are these dots you refer to just under the 1st of the date printed 1st Jan 1864 ? If so then I see only two dots also.

I was wondering what it means if there are no dots under the date?

I found my $100 bill when I was 6 at the city dump. I'm 50 now.
Found it in a box of really old stuff including a stamp collection, for some reason I have kept the bill and mine is also 834 but it is recorded twice on the bill, along the left side it is hand written and also below the date. It has the letter F below the number 834, which is below the date. There are no dots.
LOL, this is very interesting

Hello
I have in my possion a $100.00 dollar Confederate Albama bill #834F. It is in good condition. How much would it be worth for a confederate collector?

If the 3 dots are correct then this might come as a shocker maybe but I think I might have the original one with the 834F? I could be wrong, but under magnification mine definitely has all three dots? I would also make the statement in support that my father was born in Alabama in 1932 and these could have still been in circulation from his father or one of my uncles?

I also noticed but this could have still been added that the hand written 834 is indented?
