I am renovating an apartment on the 3rd floor of a building and I wish to make the main bedroom en suite but it is far from the plumbing
I cannot run the pipes as normal and must bring it up into the ceiling and join the system on the other side of the apartment
Please advise the best method to use and most economical
Thanks

Hi Mike,
What you are planing is major surgery. I don't have enough details to answer your question. For instance, by "bringing it up to the ceiling" do you mean that you have space between floors to run the main or will you have to drop the ceiling and hang the pipe? And once you get over to the bedroom how easy will it be to vent the group? The easy part will be water pipe. It's the drainage that will give you the head achs. Cheers Tom

Hi Tom
Thanks for answering my query
The unit is on the top floor and I do have plenty of space between the ceiling and the roof
I'm not sure yet if the body corporate of the building will allow me to place the pipes on the outside of the building. If they do I should have no problem If they don't I will have to use the pump method

Thanks
Mike
