I had a female Beagle who had died giving birth to a litter of 4, I did everything I could to keep the puppies alive with the vets advice but only one puppy survived. She was brought to a vet last week and it was determined that she had aspiration phnumonia. The vet gave me amoxicillin and steroids to help her breath easier and clear up any infection. For the most part the drugs worked except the puppy still weezes and sneezes when drinking, I am wondering if there is anything I can do to help her breathe more comfortably and perhaps stop the sneezing? I have been keeping her warm and clean and giving her her meds every 12 hours for the last week but I am so scared the medicine will not make her completely better and I cannot bear to lose her since I have been feeding and bathing her myself for the last month with very little sleep and have lost my dog from the birthing. The vet says that she should be better in a few weeks but Any advice as to what may help become more comfortable would be much appreciated,
Thanks
