I have been trying to smile and be a fun person to be around cause some people seem like they have the best personalities but I have been trying to bring out my own personal personaltiy that would make me the best I can be , which hasn't worked out because when I try to be happy to make me friends and other people enjoy me more I feel sad ! What should I do?:(

Hi, TheOreeoShow!
If you would like to participate in doing it, I do have an activity that I like to do with people on this site to help them with self-confidence and feeling better about themselves/
If you're interested in knowing what it is and possibly participating in doing it, please let me know on this thread.
Thanks!

What it is, is writing a song. You can actually hear what it might sound like!
If you've never done that kind of thing before, no fear, because I can show you how to do it!
Thanks

I know that you have heard this before TheOreeoShow but we are all unique and that is not a bad thing. You sound young, (How old are you if I may ask?) and you will go through many changes, among them is finding yourself. It will happen, and in doing so you will develop in many ways. So, maybe you should just give it a little time as your life experiences will culminate and you will find that being YOU is a pretty good thing...
Good luck to you,
Stringer

Hello,
Though it sound bit clichéd, but reading books and meditation can help one in building confidence level, try it, it won't cause any harm to you.

I've struggled with confidence at times and what has worked for me is to set a goal and reach it. It makes me feel capable, and that, in turn, makes me feel confident. For example, you can decide you will get straight As during a semester and make it an absolute mission, or whatever it might be that you value. Also, learn to watch people in your life - if they are critical of you and hurt your confidence, pay attention - are they just negative all the time? When you stop before accepting attacks on your confidence from the outside and evaluate them, you can turn them into one of two things - garbage that you know is garbage from a negative person, or valid criticism you can use to improve yourself.
Time is good for confidence, too - if you are young, you may just not be done developing it yet. Treat yourself well, expect others to treat you well, and in time you will feel deserving of good treatment - that's confidence!
