When I turn the tub on the shower only leaks a little bit. Nothing to cause a scene about. However when I turn the shower on (one of the pull knobs above the bath spout) the bath part is still running.
The shower is running scalding hot and the tub is running freezing cold water.

Is there any quick fix or a fix at all??

You say abovethe spout not on the spout. Do you have a hot and cold knob with a rod that you pull out to divert to a shower? What brand is it? How old? The diverter I can understand but the hot out the shower and the cold out of the spout mystifies me. I need all the details you c an give me. Regards, Tom
