The interface module (which is hard wired to the HVAC) has connectors that lock on to the bare wires when inserted in a hole on connector. There is also a release button on top of the connector when pressed unlocks the wire for removal.

The question is how do you get this connector to work again after pushing the tab that releases the wire. Is there a way to reset the connector. I had to relocate the module and now the connectors don't lock onto the wires when inserted.

Usually releasing the wires the proper way will not damage the push and play/stablock style wire connections. If you used a screw driver or punch to release the wires you might have damaged the assembly.I would revisit the connections see page 3.

I read the install manual prior to.

There are several blocks for the connectors. The AC/H block probably is defective.
You can press, release and reinsert the wire continually on the other blocks. The AC/H block tabs stayed in the depressed position after releasing the wire with finger pressure. I was able to get the wires connected by holding the tabs up while inserting the wires. After several attempts they locked the wires. Only problem now is the tabs are locked and you can't release the AC and H wires.

What a time saving connector this is

Thanks for your help anyway :)

Good luck with it and you might just for fun try some dry style spray lubricant to see if they will loosen up.
