Hi, I'm 17 years old and have recently experienced what I thought was a misscarriage. I am currently using the Pill as a form of contraception and have been doing so for the past year and a half, but this month was very different I started my period two weeks before I was due my seven day break and I had strong abdominal pains and had heavy bleeding, when I went too change my pad I noticed a pale pink jelly substance like one big lump about the size of my little finger, I know it wasn't a blood clot as I often suffer with them during my periods. I went to see my GP and they gave me a blood test to detect if there was a pregnancy.. It came back negative. They booked me in for an ultrasound scan and they found what they called pockets of fluid (Im not too sure what this is.) They also gave me an internal scan and noticed I had fluid around one of my ovaries, they said it looked as though it was floating like its not attached. They didn't say too much too me, but I'm really concerned and worried as I'm only young. I really would like any oppinions on what this could be and advice.
Thank you.
Thank you.
