We were planning on installing laminate flooring in our double-wide, but apparently one side of the home is subsiding and the floor is not even. Can we still install laminate, or do we need to do stick-on tiles. Cannot afford a lot. Trying to get the place ready to sell.

Well laminate floor is a floating floor, so it should be fine. Depending on how uneven your home it. But I work in a flooring store and I have even a cheaper option for you. Look into what's called fiber floor. It's a type of vinyl that just lays loose. There is fiberglass in the backing so it won't curl up at the edges. Its super easy to install. You cut it to fit the room and roll it out and it lays. Put your moldings or base boards back up and your good to go. It might even be able to go over the floor you have down now, unless that's carpet. Its softer and warmer to walk on. What we carry here in our store is cheaper then some of our laminats and you don't have the adhesive cost, or the padding cost.
