What breed is your dog?
How old?
When was his last vet check?
Any changes in his stool?
Has he been around any other dogs recently?
When was his last vaccinations?
Any changes around home (people/other pets coming or going?)
As you can see, I need a little more information? :)

Hi the breed of my dog is Douge de bordeux he is 11 months old he last went to the vet about a month ago he was castrated we have had friends dogs over at the weekend all there dogs are well except one dog who has just come from a rescue centre and his stools were loose but we cleaned them up and washed it away with a hose other then that the dogs were fine my dogs stools are normal and he is eating normal and drinking that is why I thought it strange mind you we have had some hot weather over the last few days.

A common problem I have found in American rescue centers is Giardia. This can cause them to be lethargic but usually causes diarreah...
It might pay to get him checked out just in case but it is doubtful.
The hot weather is most likely the culprit. We had a few vry hot days last summer and my dogs refused to eat, they just lounged about and drank a lot of water.
Bordeuxs have a fairly thick coat so if it is still hot you could consider clipping him or keeping him in a room with a fan or air conditioner going and see if he livens up at all.
A month after his neutering would also be the time when his hormones would be calming own... while it doesn't usually make this much of a change in bahavior, that combined with the heat could be making him a bit less lively.
As long as he is eating and drinking and his stools are normal I wouldn't be too concerned.
:)
Any more questions just post away!

I may be thinking of the wrong breed, but don't Dogue's have short fur?
To play it safe tacc I would probably take him to the vet just for a quick checkup to ensure it's not something serious brewing.

Whoops! Sorry, Sariss is right... for some reason a Bouvier popped into my head, not a Bordeux ;)
