Hi. Im 17 years old and I have been having unprotected sex two-three times a week for the past year and a half. I never got pregnant before so I just figured I was infertile or he was. Anyway, the first of the last day of my period was April 26 (some time that week) and my cycle usually lasts for 28-30 days. Im late now and my breast have been feeling tender and swollen for the past week and a half. I felt small cramps but no period followed after like it usually does. My discharge is also coming out really thick and I think my nipples are darker but not sure. Then there's the fact that I'm so tired but can't sleep. And when I do my sister says I wake up frequently (which I do not recall). Im sick only when I'm done eating. Im fine all through the day but once I finish that food I'm sick and feel like I need to vomit. Then its gone when I do. Can anyone help??

Why not take a HPT?

There's one on the way in the mail but I'm still skeptical on it.

How late are you? Get a home pregnancy test and then call your doctor if you're still unsure.

Do you live somewhere that your local drug store doesn't carry them?
Is there a planned parenthood in your neighborhood?

Im about a little over a week late. Plan Parenthood usually takes care of my papsmears and such but its quite a bit away. Im expose to have another papsmear this summer so maybe I can do it then if I still haven't started or the pregnancy test comes out positive (I heard it can be wrong a lot)

It's hardly wrong when you get a positive read. More likely if it is wrong you will get a 'false negative'.
I think you need to plan the trip to your Planned Parenthood, pregnant or not, because birth control is a great option. As teenage motherhood is not a cakewalk.
Having unprotected sex because you believe you are infertile is immature thinking. Many couples trying to have children try unsuccessfully for years before conceiving.

There are multitudes of birth control options on the market today. If one doesn't work, try another until one does. Open up your line of communication with the doctor prescribing. Many times, you will not even have to return to the facility.

*big sigh*
First... please don't ever assume you are infertile just because you are frequently having sex and haven't been pregnant. That's like saying I don't wear a seatbelt or don't carry car insurance because I've been driving for a couple of years and I've never had an accident.
No doctor would ever tell you "youve had unprotected sex for 1.5 years and you arent pregnant? yep. that proves it. there are issues with the quality of your eggs or his sperm."
Second... its fine the BC didn't go well for you... you aren't the first to have that complaint. So use other BC if you don't want to get pregnant... tho' I'm not sure if you want to or don't want to be... can't tell if this is a "i really dont want to be" or "ive been trying to get" thread... anyway, use some form of BC. Please??
As for HPT's being wrong... they can say negative when a person is actually pregnant... the issue is the body takes time to build up enough hormone to reach the test threshold... and some women take longer than others... so a negative test doesn't mean "not pregnant"... it means "failure to detect threshold levels of hormone"... a person might not be, or might be but not making enough hormone to be detected at that time...
Now a positive test, when done within the strict parameters of the test guidelines... meaning you do it exactly as mentioned and read it in the time mentioned... not earlier, not later... a positve test is pretty reliable.
And its best to do the HPT first thing in the morning when you wake up, before your first trip to the bathroom. Hormone levels would be most concentrated then.
If you cannot afford $9 for an HPT, perhaps your boyfriend can??

I really appreciate everyone advice. Thank you and I will look into other options for birth control.
