I have this sketch and I would like to know if someone over here can maybe try to udentify this signature and maybe tell me who is this artist the date say I think 1879 but I can't identify this signature.

It looks like a Russian HOLOP. The date is probably correct. The first name letter is a Russian (I)(for Ilya). The first letter of the last name is Russian (R). I hope this will help.
