Hi friends, can anyone tell me how to replace a seal on my bath tub please? When the water empties down the plug hole it rains in my kitchen. I took the side panel off and laid down lots of newspaper to see where the leak came from, and it's the bit that joins the waste pipe to the actual bath that leaks water like there's no tomorrow! I was shocked to see it in such a bad state. I'm nervous about diy but I really want it fixed so I can have a bubble bath again in the candle-light... cheers!

If tub drain has cross bars, use tub wrench to tighten the tub flange. If drain does not have cross bars, put the handles of adjustable pliers in drain. Spread handles to catch projections on the side. Put screwdriver between handles and tighten flange.
