Hello everyone. I hope someone can help me. My microwave door doesn't shut. I noticed it when I got home from work. That my door was open. I tried to close and it won't shut. I don't see what can be wrong with it. It is a sharp microwave. Help please, I need my microwave!

Are you sure there is nothing blocking the hinge? If it won't shut, time to replace. The good news is that microwaves are no longer very expensive. Should be able to get a decent model for around $100.

Is it nothing I can fix myself? My microwave is over my stove. I love that microwave. The house was built in 98. That's how old the microwave is. I have been in the house for a little of a year. I would hate to get a new one if I can fix it myself with out spending money or a little. I think the latch is broke

If the latch is broke,m you may be able to replace it. Check with the mfg to see if the part is available. Without seeing it there is no way for me to say for sure.
