Can a spouse be liable for court judgment of property rented to her hubby who does not have job now? Can someone go after the spouse for the rent if the tenant fails to be rent and evicted by court?

If the spouse lived in the rental unit, then yes. Even though only one spouse signed the lease, if they were married at the time the lease was executed, then almost definitely the spouse could be held responsible.

Thanks the response helps in a way but I should have been more specific in my question, it is about commercial property in which the spouse has keys, given payments before on behalf of her husband.

Yep you should have been. That it is commercial property makes a big difference. But in that case, even more info is necessary. Was the property leased by a business or the spouse personally? Was the other spouse materially involved in the running of the business.

Property leased personally for business, not sure if the spouse was materially involved in running the business but the spouse gave me a check before on the rent and he has/had keys to the property. The spouse was involved in legally removing signs on my monument sign post as well as leaving the space in a state of disrepair.

I think you need to talk to your attorney. So far I'm not sure you can go after the spouse.
