I have hundreds of tiny black bugs in my bathtub and sink. The are only about 1/8 inch long with about 6 or 8 legs. The body is oval with a point at one end and two little curving antennae (?) coming out from the point. I live in the high desert area of Southern California and I've just started seeing them in the last two days. I keep washing them down the drain but they keep coming back. I know they're not fleas because we live at an altitude of 3800' and don't have fleas here. Could they possibly be baby roaches? I can't find pictures of them anywhere. Thank you for your help.

My guess is that they are spiders. Following is a link to some common California spiders.

Can you take a picture and upload it? My first guess would be carpet beetles or mites from a bird's nest coming in through the exhaust vent.
