The sprayer head comes off the hose as a unit -- unscrew the hose nut from the bottom. After that, there's usually a hex screw in the bottom of the handle that can be taken out with an allen wrench. The rest of it should be obvious.
Spray handles are pretty inexpensive and that may be the easiest way to go.

Perito- down inside the main faucet there is a deverter valve that actuates when the sprayer hose handle is depressed:: This valve opens the valve to let the water stop running out the faucet and threw the sprayer hose :: This valve is on the front side of the faucet and the only way to get to it to repair is to take the faucet apart <from the top of it < I hope this helps you to answer her question :: I have repaired many<many of these: If you need help on how just holler to me :: God bless :": F.b.e.
