I am a light brown skinned African American young woman and I am interested in making my skin lighter. It is not because I'm not happy with my skin color, its just because I have dark spots that are hard to get rid of and I also have oily skin which can make me look darker than what I am. I was wondering, what is the best way to lighten my skin without buying something expensive that may not work. I am trying to achieve the goal of having light luminous skin. I read on the internet about lemon juice, does it work and is it safe?

JayJay. That Monica person is just soemone advertising. Don't listen to her. She's just trying to make money off you. Look around the board and read different posts and see what others and doing and read their reviews, and come up with a plan that you think will work best for you. But be CAREFUL. Always be share to do test patches. Do not ruin your skin.

I agree with JayJay. Monica sounds just like those advertisement people saying annoying things like "it works instantly"(most of the time that people say products work instantly, they dont) "i tried other products, nothing" (talking bad about other products so you buy theirs). I saw just wear sunscreen, stay away from the sun, and put on some products that could even out your skin tone and make it nice and smooth. Best of luck :]
