My cat (a siamese) is a year and a half and has been sick for four months, getting progessively worse. He has been vomitting since Feb, at first every couple of days and then in last week, every day and everything that he ate or drank. He has had blood tests which are normal, he has had x-rays and a scan which has shown an enlarged liver and kidneys. The doctor has no idea what could be the problem. He has been on a drip for two days and has finally stopped vomitting however we still don't know what is wrong. Are there any suggestions??

Sounds like he is a diabetic cat if, as you say, his kidneys are compromised, but then his blood tests are normal. A conumdrum for sure if the vet doesn't know.
Change vets and get another opinion before you spend anymore money on the vet you have. There is nothing wrong with a second opinion. All doctors/vets look at particular problems a different way, and a new vet may spot something.

If you can, ask for the blood work report so you can carry it forward to another vet. You paid for it, so you can get a copy, but you don't have to tell the present vet why you want it.
