Hello,

I'm 24 years old/18 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child and I've noticed that I'm so TIRED/lazy all the time. Everything I read is giving me the impression that I'm supposed to be getting my energy back by now. In addition to this, when I try to excersise to help me feel better physically, afterwards, I end up in bed in fetal position feeling like I have sore flu like symptoms wishing I could go into a coma or something. It's so discouraging.

Am I just a lazy fat a$$ or is it possible to be 18 weeks and feel like I want to sleep or just stare at a wall all the time? I worry about if I'm this tired now, how I'm going to feel when I actually have the baby!

This is your second child so things are different this time around. You can't just rest whenever you want, you have one child to care for and another on the way. It's not easy on your body.

Yes, during the second trimester most women do get a pick me up, start to get some energy back. Most women, not all.

Go to your doctor just to make sure this isn't a medical concern. Make sure that you're eating healthy and resting whenever you can.

If you're tired, try to nap, it's your body's way of saying "I need rest".

Most of all, congrats. :)
