You should be more scared not to go.
Clearly, this is not going away on its own.
What are you afraid of?
It could be something very simple, like a hormonal imbalance that can be corrected with medication.
Your iron reserve is probably very low by now and not taking care of this could cause other medical issues.
What are you afraid of?

Scared to go?? Why, doctors find things wrong and help us get better.
Normally the worst thing, and I mean the worst is waiting to go, things very simple things that are easy to fix, can cause other damage if you want.
It as noted can be something very simple that you could allow to get worst.
And if it is something "bad" then waiting will only hurt chances of treatment.
A person has to be, as noted, afraid not to go, never afraid to go

Doctors have seen everything!
They are professional and there is nothing to be embarrassed about. All they care about is helping you.
If you would feel more comfortable ,you could go to a female gynecologist.
If you don't mind me asking, how old are you?

I'm 16, I'm embarrassed, scared, nervous. I don't have a mom to go with and taking my dad is a big no.

Have you been on birth control?
This isn't anything to be embarrassed about but your dad probably won't want to talk about it too much, just ask him to make you an appointment. Either drive yourself or ask him to take you, he doesn't have to be involved, if you are uncomfortable talking to him about it.
Maybe a grandmother or Aunt that you be more comfortable with?

Your father will not go in to the doctors examination room with you. That is private!
When I was a teenager I lived with my Dad and I had to go through a lot of things that I did not want to share with him but he will understand honey and want you to be well.
Do you have a female relative or a friends Mom you could talk to.Even the school nurse?
You need to talk to someone so you can get this taken care of.
I know it is uncomfortable but its just one of those things you HAVE to do.
Its normal to be a little nervous but if you don't get this taken care of you could really become quite sick.
Please speak to someone. It could be something very simple and aren't you just tired of having this problem?

I set up everything, my dad isn't home most of the time and my "family" don't think of me as family because I was adopted and they never really took to me. So I'm alone and scared to go by myself.
Ive been on birth control but every time I try a new one I get dizzy spells and faint... with every one. The doctor then told me that the only way to have reg. periods was if I take fertility drugs . But that was when I wasn't having periods for 5 months, so I'm doing the same thing just I'm the oppisite now.

When I was on birth control I went about two years without a cycle, then had one almost continuously for a year.
You should still go in for an evaluation. You have nothing to fear except fear itself in this situation. Try asking your father to take you in.

Yeah its getting to the point of rediculous. maybe i can ask a friends mom...
You really need to do that.
Our female anatomy is so complicated and sometimes something very simple throws everything out of whack.
You don't want to mess around when it comes to your reproductive health.
You might want to be a Mom some day... like in ten years :)
Ask a friends Mom,you will be so relieved to have this problem taken care of.
