Charged with several crimes in 2003, pleaded guilty to lesser charge in 2006. Put on probation for 5 yrs and served 90 days in jail. violated by using illegal drugs and dropping dirty. Judge sentenced me to 90 days in a diagnotic correctional center. Should have been release April 17, 09. Will see the parole and probation board June 17, 09. Case worker said I would have to do 2 years in prison on the charge I was charged with before I pleaded guilty to a lesser charge in 2003. Can they bring up a charge from 2003 that was changed to a lesser crime and keep me in prison longer than the judge ordered in Feb 09. They can always bring up new charges as long as the SOL hasn't elapsed. They have to try you on them, though. They just can't sentence you.
