I would wait until you are 100% sure that the area has been treated and is free of the virus - it is very resiliant.
Also you should be sure the puppy has had at least one of it's puppy vaccines.

First off, sorry about your loss. :( Parvo is devastating and hard to fight. Parvo can live in up to months even years on a hard surface. I have just won a fight with parvo with my almost 3 year old great dane. My vet told me after my dogs is 100%, which means no vomiting or diarrhea and having an appetite, He still can't be around any of my other dogs for 30 days! I would suggest bleaching everything! 1:30 ratio of Clorox bleach:water will do the trick. Then wait 30 days to bring in a new puppy. I hope this helps!

I have to agree with greatdanelover3. My Rottenlab had parvo about 3 years ago. She is perfectly healthy now. However we were warned that parvo can live for months to even years. (I rarely trust Wiki for serious information).

My source is my vet, but even he says that every vet has a different opinion.
But, I'm going with his.
1 year and that's after you've completely sterilized the house with bleach, everything!
Also, the parvo virus can live for years in feces, that's how it's transmitted, so even if you sterilize the entire house, if there's one contaminated feces outside, wham, welcome to another dog with parvo.
Personally, I wouldn't risk it.
Why not look into an older dog? One with all it's shots?
Also, I'm sorry for your loss.
