Can any public association, organization, other then the tax treasury ask and check if I maintain accounts in all possible banks and check how much money do I maintain ?
I am talking in particular about the state departments like department of human services .

No, only an authorized account holder can check your balances unless they get a court order to subpeona the records.

If you issue a check to someone, then can call to determine if there is enough money in the bank to cover it.

If you apply for services like food stamps or welfare, you will probably sign a waiver giving permission to check balances.

Thanks Scott Gem. Actually I applied for food stamp. They didn't ask to sign a waiver to check balance. They just ask me to present a statement account. I maintain two different accounts and I can present statement of one of them but not the other. Right?

I maintain two different accounts and I can present statement of one of them but not the other. Right ??Hello h:

If you don't want to show them the other account because it will make you ineligible, I wouldn't do it. It's a crime called fraud, and they'll put you in jail for it.
