What part of the ceiling fan needs to be removed to get at the on/off chain housing?

Usually just the switch cap, 2 or 3 screws at the bottom.

Replacing hampton bay ceiling fan off on switch. Already have new switch, but did not mark 4 wires as to location on switch. Switch has 4 slots to accmodate existing housing wires . 2 black 1 yellow and 1 red.can you help with diagram.
