My daughter got her first sunburn on her back today :( :(

But she has ezcema too. And when I put aloe vera on her back it BURNED really bad.

I put her in a cold bath with tea bags in it and she felt better. But is there anything else I can do to make her skin feel better without any harsh creams. Her skin doesn't really tolerate much of anything, not even baby lotion!

Try cold plain yogurt on the sunburn, my cousin has used it before and it worked wonders.
Also, try moisturizing with Eucerin or Curel Fragrance Free lotion after each shower/bath to help the eczema (only not when sunburned).

That's a good idea about the yogert I never would have thought about that.

My daughter has ezcema too. But she is asian and doesn't burn easily. Hopefully she won't ever have to face that

Thanks

Ill try the yogert

I have tried Eucerin and all the fragrance free lotions and the acid free lotions and glycerin lotion and vasaline and everything I could think of. I even tried emu oil once. Boy did that go over well (sarcastic)

Her ezcema is pretty much under control. But with it being summer here in New Mexico her skin gets really dry. So far the only thing I have found to work is the infant ezcema/cradle cap ointment. Lol
