Is this the inside blower motor? What color wire is extra? How do you have it wired now?

Do you have a dual capacitor? A dual would be for compressor and fan motor. It would be in control section of unit

OK sorry was trying to look at it. My old fan is an A.O.Smith m# F48EO6A48
H/P>1/4 RPM>1100. The unit model # BRCQO361CB 36,000 BTU
IT has a tall round capacitor & the new capacitor is a split cap. short & oval the new motor is also an A.O. Smith m#FSE1026SV1 RPM>1075

You should have 2 post on the new cap. Each post will have 2 or 4 tabs on them Place 1 brn wire on one tab on one post and the other on the other post on a tab. It doesn't matter which wire goes where

You should only need 1 cap.Does the round cap have markings such as 5/35 ;5/45 or anyhow 2 numberings? If this is the case you have a dual cap meaning the 5 is for the fan motor and the 35 or 45 is for the compressor
