I've been doing a lot of research on skin lightening/whitening creams and pills (even started using Meladerm which just burned my skin and really didn't work) and was wondering if anyone here has used Gluta-C skin whitening pills or Glow2thione skin whitening pills. I ordered the Gluta-C pills the other day and am a little nervous as to whether they will work. I am hispanic of mixed nationality, Puerto Rican and Dominican, with a dark caramel complexion that is unfortunately very uneven due to using acne products and also from typical injuries. I DO NOT want to make myself white,( I really love my deep caramel color but it's the hyperpigmentation that makes it look terrible) I just want my skin to even out and for the skin on my face to match the rest of my body. For some reason that is beyond me, my hands are like 4 shades lighter than my face and two shades lighter than my body! It is crazy because they are the parts of my body I expose the most! Any ways, that's something else I'm afraid of, that if they do work, the Gluta-C pills will lighten me entirely and just make my hands even MORE light! Has anyone tried these two products??

Hi! It's really quite tempting to see the media sensationalize and blow up these new products. (That's why I am tempted myself, I am a 4 day old user of L Glutathione) so I also took the risk in fact with no medical background and no expert advice. It's just my will to maintain the youth glow you know. Anyway, my point here now is, since I am willing to take the risk, I will try it for the 1st 2 weeks or less and if there is any side effects (negative) God forbid hopefully there will be none, I will just stop using it immediately. Just be observant of any changes in our body. Let's update each other, okay? May mail add is [email protected].:)

I sometimes do not believe on TV advertisements or media because in my experience I have used from products that was on commercial and it didn’t work. Been on meladerm for 2 months and was not so happy with the results. I guess it doesn’t suit my skin, had some minor rashes.Got also hooked on these whitening pills because of my friends from the US and so I ordered glow2thione last January to see it will work on me, so I have been on it I guess 3-4 months. At first I thought it wouldn’t work on me because my skin is sometimes is really tricky and some product don’t work no matter how strong they are. So I took glow2thione 3 times a day and some vitamin c pills, waited for a little over 1 month to start seeing results. I have some issues with my patience too but good thing I managed to wait that long. So far results are great and my feet, hips and chest area are even now. The spots on my back have lightened, although I may need to do skin peeling or use that pumpkin skin peeling to really erase some of my old acne marks and stuff. But my skin as claimed by these guys really is glowing. I don’t know but I came from a dark british-asian roots and so my skin is really brown. But now I can say that its already light and people in school is always asking if I had that skin lightening treatment in asia lol. I might use glow2thione for a year more and see if I can be as light as the brits, wish me luck.

I know this is an old thread, but it is still valid. Here is the real scam behind glow2thione:
If you are not in or near Singapore, don't waste your money because if you need to return the product, their policy states that you have to get the product back to them within 30 days from the date you placed your order. Say you place your order from the US on Oct 1; it takes roughly 19 days for the package to get to the US because they send it registered mail; meaning it has to be signed all along the way. Then it takes another 5 to 7 days for the package to get to you. With that time frame the only way to get the product back to them within the few remaining days is to send it back International Express mail which will cost you another 30 or 40 dollars and there is no guarantee it will make it there before the 30-day time limit is up.
On top of that, they will charge you another 10% restocking fee. On top of that, the pills have rice flour/powder as a filler. That is a little fact that they don't list on their site as an ingredient. If you have an allergy to rice flour or rice powder as I do, it could kill you. So all around, you lose; they win. They have set up their practices to never lose. After they get your money, they will not respond to any of your email messages. Again, you lose.
But I have two bottles I just received (11/23/2011). I cannot take them because I have an allergy to rice flour/powder. I didn't find that out until after the pills have arrived and a friend found on a website that the pills had rice flour/powder in them. I haven't opened the package; it is as I received it in the mail. I tried to send the two bottles back, but as I said, they won't contact me. If any of you want the two bottles or one of the bottle s I have, contact me here. You are welcome to them.
All in all, the business is a rip-off. After they get your money, they don't give a rat's *** about you. They got your money.
