My cat was missing for two weeks, and when she came home, she was severely underweight. There is an obvious abdominal tuck, her meow is deep and unpleasant, and when she eats her dry food, she makes a choking sound like she's coughing up a furball! Any good ideas to fatten her back up? She has always been a dainty eater, so I can't just give her more food.

Your cat should go to the vet for a check up... you have no idea what she may have been into while she missing.
Assuming all is okay health wise - you probably just want to keep feeding her premium food on a regualr schedule. She should slowly come back to her natural weight.

Your kitty probably has an obstruction in her tummy, and has contracted an infection. Get her to a vet ASAP. In the meantime, feed her baby food such as chicken, turkey, veal-this should help with sensitive tummy. The noise she is making is not a good sign. Also, she is probably dehydrated (pedilyte is good here, just add to water), so please, please get her to the vet and keep your precious little one indoors at all times. My prayers are with you.
