I am looking to talk with anyone that is in the thrift shop business.

I want to start up This type of business and need to know the basic of the start up and it would be nice to talk with some one that has or is about to start this business. Any information would be a help.

1. cost 10's of thousands depending on the size, the items you are going to have to sell, the location and the rental. Also you have to assume you will not make a profit for at least 6 months and have the money to live off.

A thrift store ( also you should define it) a store merely selling used items, clothing, household items and so on.

Insurance, liability, workers comp if you have workers, property insurance to cover items you have in the building

Grants, not really,

If you have to ask what supplies you need, you don't need to go into business, but need to go to work for a store for a while and learn the business.
