Ok, first of all, I searhed this question on the internet, and I followed the instructions on many different sites, but it didn't work! I must've deleted the wrong registry keys like five times!
So I come to you guys...
There are lines of unchecked programs in my MS-Config and I want to delete them. Under location, most of it has something like "HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run" (HKEY_Current_User\etc.)... There is one that just says "SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run"... I went under several different HKEYS and deleted the stuff under "SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run", and that entry still isn't gone!
Help?
I am using Windows XP, by the way.

From which tab you are removing the options.. (startup) one
I think you can't.. it contains all those listings of s/w installed, check and uncheck is to load them after computer start or not, you can't simply remove them from registry until you uninstall the s/w itself
