How do you graph the period of sine or cosine?

Sine and cosine both go from -1 to +1 in an oscillating manor. The usual way to graph this is to follow the sine or cosine around a unit circle centered on a Cartesian coordinate system. When you graph it, graph points at 0, \, \frac {\pi}{4}, \, \frac {\pi}{2}, \, \frac {3 \pi}{4}, \, \pi etc. up to 2 pi. If you want to see the repeating behavior, graph from -2pi to +2pi.
