Yesterday I was going in a mall with couple of friends and we went to this clothing store and my friends kind of pushed me to take this shirt and I did and go t caught for it . The mall security caught me and called the cops . The cops called my dad and he picked me up . They gave me a sheet stated 2 dates. One date to come for fingerprints and the other for court. I'm 17 and this is my 1 st ffense. I was very scared when I was caught and my whole body was shaking.. I don't know what to do now. Am I going to go to jail? I'm thinking of start volunteering since I got a month till the court date.

You would do best to get an attorney,

You go in and get finger printed then show up for trial, I will assume you are in Canada, normally they have a first offender program.
