I had a new dishwasher installed and I put pasta in the disposal & ran it, not a problem at first. About 10 minutes later the left part of the sink was full of water and chopped up pasta. When I hit the switch again while runiing cold water it just filled the left part with more water, I got all the water out & then when I turned the disposal again food shot out of the left sink again. Is the s trap clogged maybe?

That has happened to me before also. I had some one cover the sink without the disposal with a plunger or hands, so no air
Can get through and tried it again. It worked for me. I also ran a long brush through the hose to clear anything that was blocking. (the hose that goes from the left sink to the right) above the garbage disposal.
