All I remember is at the starting there was a light ( I thought it was a light bulb but my brother says it was a ghost ). I remember the kids would talk to it...

All I remember is this part of the series:
Where there was this little purple monster doll thing. He wore a black leather jacket... One of the episodes had the monster following the kids in the alley and they looked back and saw him but thought that he was someone else's doll thing not their friends doll thing.
I also remember he only came out when it was hot... for example I remember him coming out of the shower and out of the oven. He left a purple hot slim thing... maybe his name was slimy? I was a show in the 90's...

Please help me remember I really want to know what the series was called!

I found out it was a show called ghostwhispearers and the scary dolls name is Gooey Gus... very gross looking and I DO NOT remember him looking like that... If you want to know what he looks like just go to this link:
