I got my period on the 6ht of April. I usually have a 28 to 30 day cycle. I am supposed to ovulate around 17th to the 21st. Today is the 24th I seem to have the egg white discharge today. I really didn't have this discharge on the days that I should have been ovulating. Can it be possible that I am ovulating and it has been 19 days since my period. I seem to be having a hard time reading my body. I am just counting 12 to 14 days from my period. It has been 3 months of trying and I am getting fusterated. Do I have time still if I am ovulating today to try to concive. How long are you fertile for from the time that you have this egg white discharge that is so called ovulation. Some please help me.

Go with what your body is telling you over what the calendar says. A rough guide when cycles are not always consistent is to subtract 18 days from your shortest cycle and 11 days from your longest. This would put you in a range that goes several days passed the 21st

Again, it is just a guide, watching for changes your body makes will help you narrow it down even more.

When you will actually ovulate once you notice the change in discharge will vary because some women will notice it a number of days prior, others the day of, and some won't notice much at all externally. You may have had it internally in the last couple of days, but are only noticing it externally now.

Yes, continue to keep trying when you have the discharge. If it turns out you need to keep trying for awhile longer still, which is not unusual at all when you consider it takes several months for many couples... some even a year or so, try to determine if you notice a pattern to when you see the discharge. If you do, you may want to start trying in earnest several days before you expect to see the change in discharge.
Fingers crossed for you!
