I have a Toshiba e-Studio 600 copier that has one NIC. I need to shear it among 2 different networks. Network address schemes are as follows:

Network 1
Server /DNS/DHCP
10.0.0.4
Subnet Mask
255.255.255.0
Default Gateway/Firewall
10.0.0.5
DHCP Address Range
10.0.0.20 – 10.0.0.99
Has its own T1 connect to a an ISP’s managed firewall
Network Switch that connects PC to Domain Controller and Firewall T1: NetGear FS726T

Copier is currently in use on Network 1
Copier
Static IP Address 10.0.0.100
Subnet Mask
255.255.255.0
Default Gateway
10.0.0.5

Network 2

Server /DNS/DHCP
10.0.1.2
Subnet Mask
255.255.255.0
Default Gateway/Firewall
10.0.1.1
DHCP Address Range
10.0.1.20 – 10.0.1.100
Has its own T1 connect to a WatchGuard Firebox X550e
Network Switch that connects PC to Domain Controller and Firewall Firebox X550e: NetGear GS724T

What is the best way to configure it to share the copier? I don’t mind purchasing a router if needed.

I have a similar setup. The way that I made it work is through the firewall/router. I created a static route 10.0.1.x traffic to 10.0.0.x with any and any for UDP and TCP. I was able to direct traffic to it and also it worked for the Shortel system to run it's software on a different subnet than the server. Hope this helps.

That is a great idea I think I will open up a case with WatchGuard

You are right on track. You have a proper structure and routers for each network.

How are the two networks connected to each other?

If you have a direct ethernet connection between the two networks, then be careful because now you have TWO DHCP servers on the same physical network. The scopes are not overlapping so duplicate IP's are not the issue. The problem would be that without VLAN isolation, all of the devices would be on the same physical infrastructure and it would be a coin toss as to what DHCP server would answer your request for address.

Hopefully, your switches are managed and are capable of VLAN configurations. This way you could connect the two networks but keep them isolated from each other.

If you can dual home your copier, that would be even easier. Does it have a wireless connection AND a wired connection? You can assign one to network A and the other to network B.
