My checking account funds were put on hold because of an old credit card that was never paid. I signed papers for the lawyers to take what was owed. How long does this process take? When will I have access to my account again?

Well that depends on the amount owed vs. what's in your account. Plus did you agree to payments or one lump sum?

I agreed to a lump sum to just get it done with. It was foe 1900.00
I have about 2200.00 in the account

It happened last week Thursday and I signed the papers today and faxed them back to the lawyer today

You probably need to give them a couple of business days to release the account.

I have been waiting for 7 yrs now for mine to open back up.

What? After you paid what was due? How can that be possible?

I never paid because I did not owe it. And they frose my account.
