My mother in law is threatening to take our child. We both work, we pay all our bills, there is no abuse or neglect, no drugs etc. This is the third time this has happened, and it always happens when we help MY mother out. We are perfectly capable parents, but nothing we do is right in her eyes. Is she capable of doing this to us? Especially when I know without a doubt she doesn't have a leg to stand on? My husband and I are even going as far as to put a harassment protection order on her. Can she still make up a lie to take our child, because this is not below her to do so. Help! I am so scared I will loose my daughter because of this woman's hatred for me and my side of the family. My little girl does not deserve this! :confused:

What would be your mil's reason (evidence) for taking your child?

She has used everything! The bumps and scrps she gets from playing, the stove being dirty after I cook, our cat, that she doesn't see her enough{she went a whole year and she works RIGHT BEHIND OUR HOUSE!} That we help my mother out finacially all the time. Stuff like that.

Is she capable of doing this to us?
