My son was expelled from his high school tennis team for not respecting coach's rules regarding how to notify him when absent from game. The coach never communicated with us the parents regarding his growing concerns regarding our son. We were at all the matches but he never reached out to us so that we could intervene. His decision came two days before the play off and he is not allowing my son to participate evn though he is their number 1 player. We called him but he did not return our call. We emailed him but he did not respond. The athletic director is supporting the coach. We met with superintendent and she made the coach call us. He won't change his decision. My son plans to play tennis in college and this unexpected decision to expelle him will have a detrimental impact on his future. Do we have legal grounds?

For what, you sue the school because your son refused to follow the rules given to him??

You son was told what to do, and I would guess most likely told several times,

What is your sons excuse for not following the rules.

Why are you putting the blame on the coach when the son was the one who did not follow the rules.

What punishment have you given your son,
What example is this to your son, if you don't want to follow the rules don't worry about it, just sue them in court.

Guess your son was not taking coach or the game serious enough
